During the Easter holidays, some of our students planted a willow dome in the school playground with the help of Elaine and Ganesh from Creative Willow.
We planted living willow around a sturdy wooden dome, and carefully threaded the branches through the wood until the dome was covered. Each student had a go at planting the willow, and we all learned how to properly care for the dome so it will continue to grow and develop over the coming years.

Thanks to Learning Outside the Classroom for bidding for funding from the Tesco Bags of Help scheme and helping us build the dome. We all agree that our new dome is a wonderful addition to our school environment!
