Burns Night

As part of our breakfast club programme, we learnt all about Robert Burns the Scottish poet and lyricist. As part of the lesson the boys were able to sample different types of Haggis,  and learn about a traditional Burns supper.

Before a traditional meal, the Selkirk Grace would be said before people tuck in.

'Some hae meat and canna eat,
And some wad eat that want it;
But we hae meat, and we can eat,
And sae let the lord be thankit'

Sampling vegetarian and meat haggis

Well done boys!

Most of the boys thought is was tasty!
