Pupils were there to answer several key questions, including;

- How did the First World War affect ordinary people?

- Was the battle of The Somme in 1916 really a disaster for the British Army?

- Is remembrance more or less important 100 years on?

The engagement centre boys had a brilliant session in the gym this morning. During this term the boys have been learning how to use gym equipment to improve health and fitness though circuit training. Skirret

Jaiden and Taylor with a skirret plant they dug up on the allotment. Once grown all over the country, skirret is a vegetable like a skinny parsnip but tasting much sweeter. It was grown in our Shakespeare400 bed.

Racing Lego Cars!

Last week, 3AW spent some time building Lego supercars, and then decided to have a race, to see who had built the fastest car!

With Mr Bailey and Miss Waldram, the class made a racetrack out of the classroom furniture and things they found around the room.  Have a look at what fun we had!

Sheldon and Zack were proud of their building skills!

And they're off!
