It's that time of year when we will be welcoming our new year 7's into school for their transition days. Our current year 7 pupils have been reflecting on their last year in PSHE and would like to give Year 6's coming up in September some advice and tell them about their experiences over the last year!
" Starting secondary school can be hard because you feel a bit small compared to the KS4 boys. It's not like primary school when you were the oldest but once you get to know them they are alright"
"At The Polygon you move around classes and have a fresh start each lesson"
"ICT in the computer room is cool and you can go in there for break and activities"
"We do lots of Outdoor learning and go to Forest Schools and Swimming"
"If you don't go to class or go to class but don't do your work you get catch up instead of your activities"
"You can make food and take it home for your family in Food Studies"
"We went to the Mayflower Theatre and saw the Lion King which was really good"
"I got to go to Iceland which was great"
"I got to go on good school trips like Iceland and you get lots of opportunities to do cool stuff"
"If you show respect and complete your work you get points and you can get amazon gift cards"
"Our school dog is really cool and called Finn"
