Tour of St Mary's Stadium

Pitch-side at St Mary's
As part of their upcoming trip to Iceland in March, a number of the boys received a guided tour of St Mary's stadium this past Tuesday.
Chilling in the boardroom

Getting in the zone before kick off

The tour included a visit to the press room, executive board room and newly designed state of the art home changing room, something rarely done by non Southampton FC staff.

The boys were particularly interested to see the stadium holding cell

During their trip they gathered information about the club and the city of Southampton, to take to Iceland as part of their education exchange with an Icelandic school.

Year 7 Maths Rhyme Challenge

Miss Bufton has set a challenge for the Year 7 boys in Math's to remember a rhyme to help with this terms topic: Mean, Mode, Median and Range.

To help the boys remember Miss Bufton has found this Hey diddle diddle rhyme:

Hey diddle diddle
The median's the middle
You add then divide for the mean
The mode is the one you see the most
And the range is the difference between.

If boys from 3LB, 3AW and 3JB can recall this to Miss Bufton TWICE they get a prize!.

They've been doing brilliantly with this topic so far!
