I have put this video on the end of the blog in the hope that it works. The boys in this slow-mo video were extremely good at Oxygen and this video caught them perfectly flipping in synchronisation!

ENERGY USAGE FOR October 2016

This is the report of the energy we used as a school in October. Can anyone tell me what we started doing different on the 22nd October?

Looking forward to receiving November's readings to see if we made any improvements in November's Switch Off Fortnight.

After School Spanish Club

After school Spanish club is now up and running at The Polygon!

We are lucky to have Mr Martinez with us so that this can now be offered across the school.

After school clubs are optional and we are very pleased to see boys opting to do Spanish-Muy bien chicos!

Outdoor Learning at Forest Schools

Our boys have been braving the cold weather to continue their outdoor learning at Forest Schools. Over the last two weeks we have learnt more about survival in the wilderness and worked in teams to complete shelter building challenges. The boys have also been able to learn different fire setting methods and the merits of each.

3GS learn about light

In Science, 3GS are learning all about light and its properties.  Today, we used light ray boxes and glass shapes to investigate refraction, and to help understand how light changes direction when it travels through different materials.

Good work Ashly, you found that the glass changes the direction of the light!
