Butser Farm

Today year 7 have been learning about the Iron Age and various building materials and practices like ‘clunching’.

The staff and pupils enjoyed making jewellery but the highlight of the day was the Berkshire Pigs until pupils discovered they may become their sausages!

Aiden asked some fantastic questions and was involved in every activity! Well done to all the pupils!

Great Escape -Royal Victoria Country Park

 Royal Victoria Country Park

On one of the hottest days of the year what better than a trip to the beach! Jamie did a fantastic job of cooling off our school dog Finn.

Finn even made some other spaniel friends!

Jamie made sure we had plenty of drinking water
.
Enjoying the refreshing water
No trip to the beach would be complete without an Ice Cream!

Not so impressed with the dog wash but all clean and ready to go back to school!
Thanks Jamie for being so responsible and caring!

First day of The Great Escape and Year 8 and Year 9 had a brilliant day of water based activities. Everyone took part and had so much fun, over coming fears beyond the swimming pool.

Working as pairs or teams they were all able to gain confidence and have smile upon their faces.

Team Meeting before paddle boarding starts

Giggles and smiles

Linkin Looking really worn out but chuffed with his efforts of winning the race!

David smiling and relaxing in the water after the race!

Tash very pleased with his efforts in paddle boarding!

Jozef was enjoying himself so much he accidently lost his footing and fell in the water! but it was okay because he was still laughing and smiling after!

Tuesday 5th July

Staff against the Pupils! who do you think won???

Afternoon Activity

Goals
Mr Betlem Kindly organised the whole school tournament at Goals in Southampton for all pupils. It was fantastic to see the mixed team work together and have fun.

Thursday 7th July
SWAC Sailing

What a perfect day for sailing! it was really windy meaning all these teams were able to sail the water with the power of the wind. Everyone really enjoyed the activity and we as staff were very pleased to see Lucas take part in something completely out of his comfort zone!

The sailing required team work and communication so that everyone stayed balanced on the boat!

Give us a smile Jamie....

Afternoon Activities

It was a fantastic afternoon organised by Miss Ifold, who planned a campfire and activities for HI and PR to do. We sat and had lunch and played lots of different games like hide and seek and '99 in'. There were many other games too. Those who choose to stay by the campfire made some lovely bread, which some tried the next day.

Again Lucas did amazingly and joined in with all the games, he was the best pupil at hiding! while Brendon and Linkin where the fastest. However the ultimate winners had to be Mr Betlem and Mr Rooke! they were too good at hiding too!

Everyone had a brilliant day and look forward to going to Itchen Valley Country park for more adventures!

Group Photo...CHEESE!!
Lucas doesn't do photos, I asked him to smile... but he didn't until Mr Rooke tried out the same facial expression as him, that made Lucas smile! Even David laughed too!

Friday 8th July

What a Hot, Hot, Hot day!

How do you smile then david?
Lovely views by the Castle
Who's the King of the castle?

Year 7 have had a great day out getting the train to Romsey, exploring Romsey Abbey and visiting the Cat Cafe!

For some boys it was their first train trip and the highlight was meeting a cat with 3 legs called Emie!
