Year 11 Citizenship - United Nations Peacekeepers
This half term in Citizenship the Year 11's have been learning about global organisations. One of those is the United Nations.
This week the pupils split in to two teams to try to keep the peace in a scenario of conflict. The teams each had three members, a team leader, a cartographer and an intelligence officer. The teams needed to put steps in place to keep the peace between two nations at conflict.
Both teams showed excellent teamwork and negotiating skills to navigate their way from potential conflicts to being able to assist the two nations to live beside each other in the best way possible.
