On Saturday 9th April, 2 pupils and 2 members of
staff were lucky enough to attend the Saints vs. Newcastle football match.
As
if this wasn’t exciting enough they watched the game as guests in the
Premier Leagues executive box!
Alfie, as the highest point scorer in year 7
last half term, and Leon, as the year 8 pupil with the least amount of time out
of his lessons last half term, were invited to go along with Mr Rooke and Miss Moul.
We arrived at the stadium
2 hours before kick-off to enjoy a delicious 3 course meal and plenty of J20’s,
before watching the game from our padded seats outside the box.
Both boys looked very smart and were fantastically behaved throughout the day, representing the school exceptionally well.
They also received goodie bags from The Saints Foundation, who offered us this amazing experience in partnership with The Premier League.
We all had a brilliant day and would like to thank Steve Bollon at The Saints Foundation for offering us this great opportunity! Also, thanks to the staff and pupils from The Rowans School, who we were sharing the box with, for helping to make our day a very enjoyable one.
