After a lunch stop in a Viking woodland and a few games of hide and seek we set off again to explore!
Next stop Geysir -Hot Springs which erupts roughly every 5mins. Mrs Foster and Owen the keen photographers camped out patiently waiting to get the perfect shots while everyone else took a hike to the top of a mountain (actually a hill 😂) to enjoy the view!
After the perfect shots were achieved and we had enough of the smell of sulphur we headed back to the mini bus to go to Efstdalur Dairy Farm for Ice Cream. The boys were fascinated you could view the cows through the window while you ate your ice cream or burger! A quick jump on the air bag in the gardens and we were back on the bus to see some more view points and explore the Thingvellir Hike where they filmed Game of Thrones!
Too many photos so please see part 4 and 5 for hot springs video and hike pics which turned into more rock climbing and drinking from waterfalls rather than learning about tectonic plates but amazing time was had by all!
