As part of the PSHE curriculum, the 4PR, 4CM and 4NA pupils have taken part in a topic based project learning about Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) in a series of sessions supported by Wayne at Yellow Door.
The pupils have engaged really well and have produced a portfolio which reflects their learning across several really hard hitting subjects. Due to the success of the project, links have been made with Solent University film department who have offered to work with the boys in producing a campaign video highlighting the impact of VAWG on our community from a teenage perspective.
The boys have been incredibly honest in sharing real life experiences and it has been commendable to see the change in mind-set as a direct result of the project. Well done!
