On Monday the 1st of July 2019 some members of the Polygon staff attended the SEF TeachMeet at Southampton University. There was lots of interesting stalls on various topics from the 'Vocabulary generator' to 'Developing cultural capital' with something to see for every subject. As well as a variety of demonstrations like 'on how to make slime' from the Winchester science center, and a talk about meta-cognition given by Christian Bokhove .
The polygon staff also had the chance to show off their singing talents with a 'Songs to support students learning' karaoke session led by Chris Downey, in which songs about chemistry were sung to tunes from bands like the Spice Girls, sadly the Polygon rockers wont be appearing on X-factor just yet.
