Internet Safety Day
Today in SEAL KS3 read through a number of Fake News
articles, those which verged on the ridiculous to those that could have more
serious implications.
The class were very keen to share their experiences of Fake
News and how it is important to have an understanding about the world around us
and form our own opinions.
We discussed how to spot Fake News, why it can be harmful as
well as how quickly these stories can be shared online.
Pupils were given the opportunity to read the top “news”
stories of 2022 and who the stories may affect.
Here is a sample of some of the topics we discussed.
