Work Experience
This week pupils in Year 10 are out of school on their work experience placements. This week adds to our overall 'Employer Encounters' provision which is part of the school Careers Curriculum.
Today we visited 3 of our pupils to see how they were getting on
LWR is on placement at V8 Garage in Shirley. He is working with the mechanics to help change brake fluid and change tyres.
SC is on placement at Welcome Co-op in Liberty Quay. He is checking stock and distributing, as well as customer services.
TZ is doing his placement at Sholing Services. He has been helping the mechanics fit tyres, clean cars after servicing and check oil and brake fluid levels.
We are very proud of the efforts our pupils have all taken to ensure they get to their placements and the new skills they are learning. More updates on our other pupils will follow.
